CATA Headquarters

The CATA headquarters building, dedicated in 1997, has grown to become the focal point of meetings and training for the association’s 600-plus members. Line associations, area dealer associations, manufacturers, our allied members and zone personnel find the facility’s six main conference areas to be meeting-friendly and the building location easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Chicago area.

The well-used building is exceptionally workable for groups who wish to utilize meeting rooms and a large “showroom” atrium to display their vehicles. The high ceilings and large windows provide a dramatic backdrop for walk-around orientations and sales presentation meetings.

The rooms are available complimentary for CATA members, and they range from two small conference rooms that seat up to 12, another which seats about 20, and the main salons with accommodations for more than 200 people in theater-style seating. Offices also are available to dealers who wish to conduct interviews in confidence, away from their dealerships.

Catering is available for breakfasts, lunches, or dinners and includes full audio/visual equipment for group presentations.

Due to the popularity of the building, the CATA asks that groups wishing to stage events or training in it should book ahead to ensure availability.

CATA members wishing to book conference rooms should contact the meeting rooms coordinator Roxanne Sammarco at rsammarco@drivechicago.com or (630) 495-2282.

Meeting Spaces

The centerpiece of the building’s first floor is two salons — 2,600 square feet of space, each capable of accommodating up to 70 people seated classroom-style or up to 230 people combined, seated theater-style. Designed to adapt to a variety of needs, the salons are equipped with built-in seven-foot screens and data ports for computer training.

Adding to its versatility, a soundproof wall can divide the room or may be left open for larger events, and the entryway’s glass-enclosed atrium can be used to display up to three vehicles for new-car showings.

A catering kitchen allows off-site caterers to service your breakfast, lunch or dinner meeting. On the second floor, an elegant boardroom can accommodate a meeting for 26. The smaller rooms previously referenced are also on the second floor.

All meeting spaces include complimentary access to Wi-Fi.
